Our Story

Women in Business is a student society at the University of Technology Sydney.

 

We desire to empower a network of inspired and entrepreneurial women, we provide opportunities, business exposure and professional experiences. Through a range of events and programs, we bridge the gap between academic learning and the corporate world, providing our members with opportunities to engage, learn, and grow. Our signature mentoring programs, available in both autumn and spring, offer personalised guidance from experienced students and industry representatives, helping participants navigate their academic and professional journeys.

Through our collective student efforts, we aim to create a positive environment where male and female students acquire knowledge about gender equality in the workplace. We hope to develop a university culture that supports gender equality in everyday life. Ultimately, we want to equip and empower women with the confidence to achieve any goal, professional or personal.
