About us
UTS Women in Business is the 4th largest student society at the University of Technology Sydney and the 2025 ActivateUTS Club of the Year. We empower a dynamic community of inspired and proactive women through meaningful business exposure and experience, delivered through flagship initiatives such as our International Women’s Day Breakfast, Mentoring Programs, Graduate development opportunities, sponsor-led sessions, internship pathways and personal branding workshops. Through these experiences, we equip our members to confidently navigate and shape the business world.
Our vision is to honour our decade-long legacy while continuing to serve our members, sponsors and the wider UTS community by redefining what it means to empower, challenge and succeed. Embracing growth and innovation, we are committed to delivering meaningful and memorable social, professional and philanthropic opportunities that reflect the evolving interests of our community and inspire the next generation of female leaders.
2025 Club of the Year
“Club of the Year” is the coveted, Major Award, presented by the University of Technology Sydney’s student-life organisation, ActivateUTS. This prestigious recognition celebrates WiB’s outstanding performance across engagement, impact and outreach, innovation and organisational effectiveness; underpinned by our core values to empower, challenge, and succeed.
Receiving this honour is a testament to the collective efforts of our Executive and Internal Teams, guided by the strategic leadership of President Vanessa Lee and Vice-President Lauren Walford – and made possible through the continued support of our members, sponsors and partners, and the wider UTS community.
