About us
UTS Women in Business is the 4th largest student society at the University of Technology, Sydney and 2025 ActivateUTS Club of the Year. We aim to empower a dynamic community of inspired and proactive women through business exposure and experience. We provide this through our programs and events throughout the year, such as International Women’s Day Breakfast, Autumn and Spring Mentoring Programs, Graduate Programs, Sessions and Internship opportunities provided by our Sponsors and our Personal Branding workshop.
Our mission is to equip young women with invaluable networking opportunities and insights to succeed in any field, ranging from finance to fashion. Together, the members of UTS WiB play a leading role in cultivating the next generation of female leaders who are passionate about positively changing the business world.
2025 Club of the Year
“Club of the Year” is the coveted, Major Award, presented by the University of Technology Sydney’s student-life organisation, ActivateUTS. This prestigious recognition celebrates WiB’s outstanding performance across engagement, impact and outreach, innovation and organisational effectiveness; underpinned by our core values to empower, challenge, and succeed.
Receiving this honour is a testament to the collective efforts of our Executive and Internal Teams, guided by the strategic leadership of President Vanessa Lee and Vice-President Lauren Walford – and made possible through the continued support of our members, sponsors and partners, and the wider UTS community.
