Citi - Women in leadership panel event - Information Session

At Citi, we value diversity in all its different forms. Citi are inviting female students to join the Women in Leadership Panel event this upcoming July. 


Join this event to hear from inspirational senior female leaders from Banking, Capital Markets, and Advisory, Global Markets and Treasury & Trade Solutions. This event will provide you with insight into the diverse career paths our leaders have had, their personal journeys at Citi, followed by career advice and tips for female students interested in exploring a career in finance. In addition, there will be an open Q&A following the panel discussion.

This event is open to female pre-penultimate, penultimate and final year students who are Australian/New Zealand citizens or New Zealand permanent residents.

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, so early application is highly encouraged.

To be eligible for a summer internship, you will need to be an Australian citizen or permanent resident, or New Zealand citizen.


2021 Achiever Programme

Do you want to make your 2022 summer break worthwhile? Gain paid* work experience 

in accounting with the 2021 Achiever Programme. 

The Achiever Programme will be open for applications in July 2021, a unique opportunity for penultimate students currently studying accounting to gain real work experience during the summer break.

In 2019, 278 students were successfully placed with 131 employers across Australia and New Zealand giving them the opportunity to participate in paid* industry experience ranging over a duration of 3-12 weeks.

This year, it could be you! 

Please note the programme will be exclusive to the Chartered Accountants ANZ student affiliate community. If you are not a student affiliate, register as soon as possible. It is free and only takes a few minutes. Being a student affiliate allows you to stay informed through our monthly e-newsletter and be the first to access our upcoming events to connect with industry experts and meet like-minded individuals. You will receive a notification when the programme opens for applications

Citi Women in Banking and Markets Scholarship

Calling all penultimate year female students across Australia & New Zealand. Citi's 2021 Women in Banking and Markets Scholarship applications are open!

The Women in Banking and Markets Programs are targeted at talented penultimate year female students interested in a career within financial services and banking. The scholarship program will provide female students with a scholarship fee grant of $5000USD and a placement on Citi’s 2021 Internship Program.

As a Citi intern scholar, you will receive unmatched industry mentorship and guidance from junior and senior peers, in an interactive 11-week program commencing in November.

UTS WiB Autumn Mentoring Program

The UTS Women in Business Mentoring Program's are one-on-one programs between two students, where we seek to facilitate an ongoing professional relationship between a senior student (Mentor) and a first-year student (Mentee). This program enables Mentors to share their own knowledge, skills, information and experiences with their fellow mentees in order to maximise their university wellbeing, as well as form new friendships in the process.

The current Autumn mentoring program is a five-week program starting on the 1st of April and will involve several sessions as well as social gatherings.

For those that missed out on this opportunity, don't fret! We have out upcoming Spring Mentoring Program next semester. We will be looking for students that are committed, reliable and will truly gain something valuable from the program. Citi is holding a Summer Internship Insights webinar on Tuesday 4th May at 6pm Sydney time.


Interested in exploring a career at Citi this summer? Join Citi for their Summer Internship Insights Webinar and hear from analysts across Investment Banking, Capital Markets, Corporate Banking, Global Markets and Treasury and Trade Solutions.


Citi’s Analysts will walk you through their business, the summer program and a #DayInTheLife at the world’s most global bank. This session will also include a live Q&A session where you will get the opportunity to ask all your questions.


If you are a penultimate or final year student, register before Monday 3rd May 7pm to join!
