Bachelor of Laws/Bachelor of Business (Accounting major)
Brittany (Britt) is currently in her fourth year undertaking a Bachelor of Laws/Bachelor of Business majoring in accounting. She is a hardworking, driven and vivacious individual who loves getting involved in university life.
In her role as Sponsorships Director, Brittany aids in assisting pivotal industry and sponsorship relationships, constantly collaborating with WiB’s key stakeholders. Ultimately this is to ensure that students are provided with the best industry opportunities and sponsors are receiving maximum benefit from their ongoing interactions with UTS Women in Business.
When Brittany is not at university she is playing and watching sports (whether that is netball, tennis, NRL or cricket). She also loves going to the beach, travelling, shopping and spending time with friends and family. On-campus you will always see her with a coffee in hand!
Brittany is currently working as a paralegal at Gorval Lynch, an employment, commercial and family law firm. She undertakes legal research, drafts legal documents and is a first-hand contact to clients. She previously worked at an aviation law firm as a law clerk for two years. Additionally, she is a Student Representative at Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ).
Brittany hopes to combine law with business to work as a criminal barrister specialising in fraud, money laundering and insider trading. Alternatively, with her interest in the stock market and company acquisitions, she hopes to be involved in the legal side of company acquisitions and takeovers. Brittany additionally aims to be heavily involved in the business world, ultimately to be on company boards one day!
